HOW TO PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES
1. Pray for open doors and divine appointments (Colossians 4:2 & 3).
2. Pray for boldness in witnessing (Ephesians 6:19; Isaiah 41:10.) Pray that closed hearts and minds would be opened and that many would be saved through their ministry (Mark 16:15 & 16; II Peter 3:9).
3. Pray that the Word of God would have a free course in their ministry and that obstacles would be removed (II Thessalonians 3:1).
4. Pray for their good health and the healing of any illnesses that they might have (III John 2; James 5:14 & 15).
5. Pray that God would place His "wall of fire" (Zechariah 2:5) and His "hedge of protection" (Job 1:10) round about them to protect them. Pray that God would deliver them from all satanic attacks and wicked people that would come against their family and their ministry. (Ephesians 6:10-18; Deuteronomy 33:27).
6. Pray for their marriage and children and for peace, unity and harmony within their family (Philippians 4:6 &7; Isaiah 26:3). Pray they will adjust to the culture and climate.
7. Pray that their ministry would be accepted by local believers (Romans 15:31).
8. Pray that God will give them divine guidance and wisdom (James 1:5; Psalms 32:8) and the grace and ability to communicate effectively.
9. Pray that God would provide safe transportation and traveling mercies (Isaiah 41:10).
10. Pray that God would refresh their bodies, souls and spirits, and give them a new hunger to serve the Lord (Romans 15:32).
11. Pray that God will meet all their financial needs (III John 2; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 23:1).
12. Pray that God would comfort them when they are lonely, encourage them when they are depressed and discouraged, and provide them with good friends (John 14:18).
13. Pray that they would personally grow spiritually and keep the Lord of the work before the work of the Lord (II Peter 3:18).
14. Pray that God will strengthen their faith and give them confidence in God's ability to work all things together for good (Philippians 4:13; Hebrews 13:6; Romans 8:28.
15. Pray that God would save all of their loved ones, and grant to them the desire of their hearts (Proverbs 10:24).
